Installation
Holdfire systems are designed for maximum safety and reliability. In line with this design philosophy, Carefree door closers are powered by a safe, low voltage supply and properly integrated with the fire alarm system. The majority of our installation work is retro-fit to operational care facilities. We are very conscious of the sensitive environment and we make every effort to make our presence a positive experience for both residents and staff. All our installers are employees of Holdfire and are CRB checked.
We have developed our own micro-wiring system that enables the infrastructure to be installed quickly and economically, with minimum disruption to the home.
Installations are certified to BS 5839-1, which incorporates BS 7671 and the new standard for door systems, BS7273. For customers wishing to engage their own installer we can offer a full range of services from telephone installation advice through to full installation design, training and commissioning.
